Export Control
Notice
GigaFin Networks products are subject to United States export controls on encryption technology and are eligible for export under certain provisions of License Exception ENC. The Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) for GigaFin products is 5A002. Therefore, certain limitations apply to the export of our products from the U.S. as well as subsequent re-exports from third countries.
These restrictions may be summarized as follows:
- A license is required to export or re-export GigaFin Networks products to any end-users in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan or Syria.
- A license is required to export or re-export GigaFin Networks products to government end-users, unless the government end-user is located in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom.
- Depending on to whom and to where you are exporting GigaFin Networks products you may be required to report the exports on a semi-annual basis to the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS).
- The U.S. prohibits all exports to certain end-users. BIS and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) publish lists of these persons.
We provide this compliance information to our customers to assist them in understanding the restrictions on the export of our products, but this notice is not intended to provide a comprehensive understanding of all export control restrictions on GigaFin Networks products.
